This is th oldest park of the city. It was founded by Felix de Ribas (the brother of José de Ribas) at 1803. Felix de Ribas was an owner of the great part of the down town, but has not enough sources to support the territories. Therefore, he transferred the territory of the city garden for free to the ownership of the City on November 10, 1806. There are a summer theatre of the Odessa Orchestra (Arch. R.A. Vladimirskaya, 1949), the pavilion (Arch. A.A.
